General Maintenance Worker

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Maintenance Worker to join our team at Eustace ISD Facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
• Help to maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Identify and report the need for major repairs.
• Perform minor fixes, such as repairing hardware, damage to walls, etc.
• Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and ensure functionality.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, HVAC system tune-ups, etc.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

While not mandatory, certifications in plumbing, electrical, or other related fields will be considered a plus.
