Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Annually

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify client insurance needs through consultations and risk assessments.
• Provide expert guidance on suitable coverage options and insurance products.
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums with insurance carriers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform clients and enhance service offerings.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to facilitate smooth policy issuance and claims management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance products and market trends to adopt best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Active Connecticut insurance license (Property & Casualty) required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex insurance policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Desired Experience:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or brokering.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on relationship-building.
• Familiarity with various commercial insurance products and services.
