• Grades K-4 Resource Room
• Grades 5-6 Resource Room
• Grades 6-8 Resource Room

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential/certification
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement), with preference for education-related fields
• Prior experience working with students in resource rooms or special education settings
• Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and tracking student progress
• Collaborative, flexible mindset and effective communication skills with students, parents, and team members
• Experience or confidence working with varying disabilities and adapting instruction as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized lesson plans and modify curriculum based on student needs
• Deliver engaging instruction for students with varied abilities in resource room environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all learners feel supported
• Communicate with families regarding student successes and challenges
