We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for three resource room teaching opportunities, serving students in grades K-4, 5-6, and 6-8. These contract positions focus on fostering academic and personal growth for diverse learners in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in resource room settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with developing IEPs and adapting curriculum to individual needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with staff, students, and families
• Ability to work with students across a range of disabilities and learning styles
• Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to integrate modifications and accommodations in the classroom
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to drive instruction
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to policy
• Implement effective behavioral interventions and support strategies
