Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with students in K-2, preferably in a self-contained setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and individualized instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive, structured classroom climate

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student strengths and needs
• Design engaging lessons using evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social-emotional development
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust instruction to achieve student goals
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent support
• Maintain accurate, organized documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements
