Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our on‑site Child Support Services call center, supporting parents, employers, and recipients with payment and account inquiries. This role requires strong customer service skills, comfort handling high‑volume inbound calls, and the ability to communicate clearly across phone, chat, and email.You'll work in a fast‑paced environment where professionalism, accuracy, and adaptability are essential.WORK SITE: 10390 Peter A McCuen Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CAWORK SCHEDULE: Shift time is Monday- Friday from 9:15 AM to 6:00 PM WHAT YOU'LL DO:Manage high‑volume inbound calls from Parent Paying Support (PPS), Person Receiving Support (PRS), and employers.Registering PPS to make electronic payments. Informing Person Receiving Support (PRS), the options they have for receiving payments: EPC, bank account/direct deposit Informing Employers of the options for making payments for their employees who are ordered to pay child support Registering Employers to make electronic paymentsHandle customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email.Provide high-quality service by effectively understanding and addressing customer needs.Demonstrate professionalism and a friendly attitude while resolving customer issues.Adapt to ongoing policy and procedure updates within the team.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Must be a U.S. citizen.Strong computer and phone skills; proficiency in web-based applications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage customer interactions with confidence and provide resolutions effectively.High School Diploma or GED required.Must be 18 years or older.Fortuna operates as a staffing agency engaged in sourcing, screening, and presenting potential candidates for employment opportunities on behalf of our clients.Fortuna was founded in 2012 by practicing professionals with more than 50 combined years of experience.
