Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an OB RN - Nights!

Job Description:
- Independently provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients in the OB unit.
- Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills.
- Be committed to improving the quality of patient care in a dynamic environment.
- Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills with confidence.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
- Ensure adherence to all Standards of Nursing Practice while providing age-appropriate care for:
- Antepartum
- Intrapartum
- Postpartum
- Nursery
- Post-op gynecology patients
- Manage supplies and equipment effectively.
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel within the unit and other hospital departments.
- Uphold hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA compliance.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience as an RN.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Successfully complete general nursing and unit orientation.
- Strong effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Current certifications in:
- BLS
- ACLS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
- STABLE
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
