Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive, individualized nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients on the unit. Utilizes nursing judgment, clinical skills, and teaching abilities to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care independently under supervision.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all Standards of Nursing Practice and implement age-appropriate care.
• Manage supplies and equipment to support safe and effective patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote teamwork.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies regarding privacy, safety, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience.
• Successfully complete hospital orientation and unit-specific training.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and electronic health records documentation.
