Human Resources Generalist

Penn Color is seeking an onsite HR Generalist to deliver day-to-day human resources support across the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities Act as a primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing timely, practical guidance Coach managers on employee relations, performance expectations, corrective action, attendance, and workplace concerns Conduct workplace investigations and recommend consistent, appropriate resolutions Support recruiting activities, including candidate screening and interview participation Coordinate new-hire onboarding and help maintain a positive employee experience throughout employment Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures consistently and in compliance with applicable laws Support performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, employee development, and future talent management activities Partner with leaders to identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities Maintain accurate employee records and process employment changes in the HR information system (including support to managers as needed) Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and company-sponsored events Participate in HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices• Proven experience handling employee relations and performance matters Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and HR programs Strong communication and relationship-building skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems; Workday experience is a plus Technology Microsoft Office HR information systems Workday (plus) Success looks like Employees and managers receive responsive, consistent, trusted HR support Workplace concerns are addressed promptly, fairly, and professionally HR processes and employee records are accurate, compliant, and well organized Managers are better equipped to lead, develop, and hold employees accountable HR programs support a positive, engaging, high-performing workplace Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times Location: Hatfield, PA (onsite, 5 days a week) Reporting: VP, Human Resources #J-18808-Ljbffr Penn Color
