Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a growing company in Clearwater, Florida, to identify a bright, motivated Senior Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform account analysis and investigate variances.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and management reporting packages.
• Support the annual audit and work with external auditors as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the company's continued growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Approximately 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 or regional public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• A motivated, intelligent professional with the desire to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow with the company.
