• Call only ‐‐ beeper call, 1:2 ratio, 20‐minute response time
• 4 ‐ 5 phone consults, patients seen, and admissions per 24 hours
• Inpatient practice setting with both inpatient and outpatient rounding
• General CV/thoracic surgery required ‐‐ open and endoscopic
• CABG (on pump and off pump), valvular repair and replacement required
• Aneurysm repair, lung resection including VATs, TAVR required
• AICD, left ventricular assist devices, bronchoscopy skills required
• Esophagus, diaphragm, chest wall, and pleural procedures required
