What You ll Do

Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, focusing on first assist duties
Perform endo vein harvesting and radial artery endo harvesting procedures
Support surgical teams before, during, and after operations
Ensure patient safety and uphold sterile techniques during procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff for seamless operation flow
Follow all hospital protocols and safety guidelines

What You Need
Required:

Valid Louisiana Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Experience with endo vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred:

BLS/ACLS certification
Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery units
