Job Description

Med Ninjas is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible OB Hospitalists for an immediate need at a busy North Fort Worth hospital serving more than 50,000 patients each year. Compensation is $180 per hour, with full-time defined as 7.5 twenty-four-hour shifts per month and a benefit-eligible minimum of 5.5 shifts.

  Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform OB triage, admissions, delivery attendance, and inpatient care 
\n

\n
• Manage a 40% C-section rate within the delivery caseload 
\n

\n
• Oversee unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits and OBED consults 
\n

\n
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting 
\n

\n
• Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies 
\n

\n
• Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage 
\n

\n
• Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies 
\n

\n
• Assist in surgical procedures during cesarean sections and respond to labor and delivery emergencies 
\n

You Must Have

• Truly board eligible within five years of residency, or board certified, in OB/GYN 
\n

\n
• Active Texas license, or license in process; the client is seeking a provider who can start as soon as possible 
\n

• Clean malpractice and license history, highly preferred 
\n

\n
• Willingness to reside within the immediate local area; relocation may be required 
\n

\n
• Active DEA prior to start 
\n

\n
• NPDB self-query pulled within the last 30 days 
\n

\n
• Confirm interest in full-time or part-time employment 
\n

\n
