Also responsible for making recommendations to Management regarding the collectability on assigned customers. **What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities*** Review and research a high volume of transactions, identifying root causes of discrepancies and recognize solutions, document issues and report to management.* Provide customer service regarding collection issues.* Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - customer calls, account adjustments/refunds, and customer reconciliations.* Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.* Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned portfolio, including but not limited to regular collection calls and correspondence to customers in a fast-paced environment.* Work with customers and internal employees in the pursuit and resolution of collection matters, including legal collections and troubled status.* Other projects and duties as assigned.**What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements*** H.S. Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation and/or Collections experience.* Knowledge of General Accounting principles and practices. Demonstrated knowledge in researching and reconciling techniques.* Experience in reading and interpreting contracts (leases).* Proficiency working with Great Plains preferred.* Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.**Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
