• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health evaluations for clients via telehealth platforms, enabling you to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that interventions align with the clients’ specific needs.

Our client population includes individuals aged 12 and older experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and other psychological concerns. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

• A current and valid license in Virginia as a Mental Health Counselor, including options such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge in mental health practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, vital for fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences, enabling an open and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Strong organizational skills, allowing for effective case management and adherence to administrative requirements.
