Our outpatient office in Burke, Virginia, serves as a supportive hub where therapists can collaborate, share insights, and access resources, should they need on-site interactions or consultations. You'll typically work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient appointments and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to gauge patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and others to guide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at common mental health challenges, fostering community and providing critical peer support.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated approaches to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, assessing risk and formulating immediate support plans.

• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions, customized treatment plans, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in alignment with ethical and legal standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and educational workshops.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements within the mental health field, contributing to clinical discussions and enriching the treatment methodologies used in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic methods.

• Proven experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy across diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
