Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their unique goals, needs, and preferences.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing guidance on treatment options and self-care strategies for improved mental health.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and adjust plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Virginia.
