About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Defense, Operations, and Programs to take on a hands-on, site leader role within its expanding defense and military division. This highly visible leadership position is pivotal in ensuring the company's operational and production activities for defense products are in line with the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining all operational policies, procedures, and infrastructure to support growth, while also driving continuous improvements and managing risk. Collaboration with engineering, business development, sales, and supply chain is essential to meet full life-cycle program requirements and deliverables. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing and production, with a strong emphasis on program management. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in operations and production, particularly in the defense and military sector, and experience with AS9100, Mil-Std's, and ITAR is a must. The VP will be expected to have a deep understanding of the industry, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with government and military contacts. The position also demands a candidate with a proactive approach to managing schedules, updating policies and procedures, and mitigating risks. US citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.
