Visual Merchandising Coordinator

Job Description To collaborate with Regional VM Manager on planning and implementing strategies to achieve the highest standard of Visual Presentation in Retail stores relevant to Region. To apply industry best practice, trends & developments to plan Zimmermann visual merchandising strategies with confidence and accuracy. To ensure that all seasonal guidelines are planned and executed in accordance with Zimmermann vision and expectations with consistency. To travel to interstate stores to implement VM and new store openings in accordance with business needs.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

To collaborate with Regional VM Manager on planning and implementing strategies to achieve the highest standard of Visual Presentation in Retail stores relevant to Region. To apply industry best practice, trends & developments to plan Zimmermann visual merchandising strategies with confidence and accuracy. To ensure that all seasonal guidelines are planned and executed in accordance with Zimmermann vision and expectations with consistency. To travel to interstate stores to implement VM and new store openings in accordance with business needs.

SEASONAL VISUAL MERCHANDISING DIRECTION

To communicate the planning of seasonal visual merchandising direction to relevant Retail teams as directed by VM Manager considering individual store needs in relation to adjacencies, seasonality, demographic, climate, traffic, etc. To analyze sales, budgets, and ST to determine floor moves that will enhance the collection and maximise sales. To liaise with Retail Buying and Planning team before every launch to ensure visual merchandising planning and allocations are aligned. To create floorplans for Retail stores for every new product launch. To prepare launches, windows and mannequin displays in accordance to theme direction of VM Manager and ensure an elevated, luxury window/mannequin displays for Retail stores are relevant to Region reflective of the Brand image and seasonal vision. To assist on the execution of the pilot store – in collaboration with VM Manager and ensure seasonal directions are implemented as per Zimmermann vision and direction. To monitor the visual merchandising direction and raise opportunities with VM Manager

WINDOWS

To plan fortnightly window displays – following theme direction of VM Manager creating elevated, luxury window/mannequin displays for Retail stores reflective of the Brand image and seasonal vision every fortnight. To communicate visual merchandising direction to Retail stores via weekly VM Summary as and when directed by VM Manager. To monitor success of window display direction and raise opportunities with VM Manager

STORE & STOCK PRESENTATION

To assist the VM Manager to coordinate the management of all visual display’s interior & exterior displays for Retail stores. To assist the VM Manager to coordinate the management of store presentation including but not limited to; cleanliness, lighting, scent, sound, music, flowers to support Retail teams in creating a luxurious client shopping experience. To train, manage and develop retail team’s knowledge of Brand image & Expectations In collaboration with VM Manager. To create guidelines on garment presentation in line with Zimmermann seasonal direction. To schedule regular store visits to support & inspire Retail teams to ensure Brand expectations are met consistently. To manage all signage requirements for Retail stores relevant to Region as and when directed by VM Manager.

STORE TEAMS TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

To schedule regular store visits to implement and oversee the visual merchandising direction, store & stock presentation within stores. To offer tailored visual merchandising training targeting the specific needs of the store and manager. To regularly communicate with VM Manager, Regional and Store managers to provide feedback and together identify opportunities for further development of visual merchandising skills. To identify potential of the retail teams in visual merchandising during store visits and communicate to VM Manager. To assist the VM Manager in further development of expertise.

NEW STORE DEVELOPMENT

To support the VM Manager to order and manage all VM/POS tools for new store openings To assist the VM Manager finding new contractors such as Florists, Gardeners & Cleaners To create Store Design Brief and compiling key design features into a document to share with Training team

ADMINISTRATION

To assist the VM Manager managing all VM & POS tools. Stocktaking, ordering and replenishment as and when needed. To update the visual merchandising Policies and Procedures as needed To assist the VM Manager developing all written and visual content relating to visual merchandising expectations. To assist sending the weekly communication to all retail teams to include relevant visual merchandising direction, product, or delivery updates To propose to VM Manager monthly store visit schedule to support retail teams To review weekly retail stores relevant to Region visual reporting to ensure adherence to visual merchandising directive, efficiency of visual merchandising direction and to adjust accordingly where appropriate. To review the weekly summaries to collate feedback provide by the stores. KPI: Achievement of the highest standard of Visual Presentation across Retail stores relevant to Region Achievement of store budgets through seasonal Visual Displays and Merchandising Achievement of consistency with Visual Merchandising, Stock & Store and Presentation across Zimmermann boutiques, Outlet store and Wholesale partners. Floor plans and windows are planned in accordance with Zimmermann vision and guidelines. Floor plans are communicated to the stores 3-5 days prior to launch dates. Windows are planned in accordance to launches and Sell Trough. Window planning are communicated to the stores 24hours prior to launch. Stores teams are fully supported with stock preparation and organization during the execution. Store team are fully trained in all aspects of VM, Windows and Stock Presentation. Store’s maintenance is executed in a timely manner, and in accordance to budgets. No team complaints. What you can bring to the role Prior experience working in Visual Merchandising field Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Spanish proficiency preferred but not required Demonstrated organisational skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask. Creative eye for detail. Results driven, optimistic and team orientated approach. Has a strong work ethic; can work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. Sound understanding of Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
