Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Scientist for Analytical Development to design and execute potency cell-based assays, flow cytometry workflows, and immunoassays in support of therapeutic development. This autonomous laboratory role involves method development, validation, troubleshooting, and serving as a subject matter expert within a cross-functional GMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze hypothesis-driven experiments with limited supervision
- Develop and optimize potency cell-based assays, flow cytometry workflows, and immunoassays for robustness and reproducibility
- Lead method transfer and validation; serve as subject matter expert for multiple analytical methods
- Author technical documents including SOPs, development reports, and method validation reports
- Identify and resolve technical challenges through systematic troubleshooting and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Master's degree (PhD preferred) in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, or related field
- 4-6+ years of assay development, quality control, or cGMP analytical experience
- Demonstrated expertise in potency assay development and execution
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as JMP or SAS
- Working knowledge of QbD, ICH guidelines, and regulatory guidance
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced multidisciplinary teams
Compensation: $106,010 - $128,462
