Assembler / Machine OperatorLocation: Ansonia, CTJob SummaryWe are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Assemblers/Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble small components, operate light machinery, inspect finished products, and help ensure quality standards are met. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a clean, team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble small electro-mechanical components according to work instructions.Operate light machinery and use hand and power tools.Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.Report any defects or production issues to a supervisor.Complete required production paperwork accurately.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.Ability to work with small parts and pay close attention to detail.Comfortable using hand tools and light power tools.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Soldering experience is a plus but not required.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift.Frequently handle and assemble small parts.Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Perform repetitive hand movements and visual inspections.Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while following all required procedures.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
