Position: Crew Chief Location: 441 Route 25A Rocky Point, NY 11778-8884. Compensation: $17.51 - $18.01 per hour. Employment type: Employee, Full time. You will work closely with the General Manager to guide the crew, keep operations running smoothly, drive sales, and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Work directly with the General Manager to ensure consistent revenue growth and meet performance metrics such as core sales mix, MultiCare, and Core Plus. Coach and execute excellent customer service, creating an exceptional guest experience. Set a positive example as a leader, building team engagement and efficiency. Develop teammates through internal training, guidance, coaching, and direction. Maintain quality control measures and processes consistently. Handle inventory, cash processes, guest issues, and collaborate with the District Manager on critical initiatives. Assist the General Manager with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, and expense controls. Provide clear direction to the team and ensure a clean, safe, and presentable service center. Mentor automotive technicians and Customer Service Associates (CSA's). Perform opening and closing duties when the GM is off. Assist in building an engaged workforce reflecting customer volume and business needs. Lead daily team huddles and store meetings; set direction to achieve business goals. Manage inventory and product orders to meet business needs. Adhere to and hold others accountable for policies and regulations that maintain a safe and productive workplace. Assist guests with questions or needs in person, electronically, or via telephone. Qualifications One to three years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience not required. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups. Sound business sense and comprehensive understanding of the retail industry. Ability to analyze, comprehend, and recommend financial objectives that increase sales and service results. Positive attitude and professional conduct; appearance consistent with company standards. An energetic approach to a fast-paced, flexible, high-performance retail environment. Guest-first mindset. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Physical ability to stand on hard surfaces, tolerate hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes, and lift up to 50 pounds. Minimum age 18, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
