Corporate Accountant

A well-established organization is seeking an Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a complex business environment, support key financial reporting processes, and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments. The position provides exposure to a variety of accounting, reporting, compliance, and analytical responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial, operational, and management reports while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements. Assist with accounting research, financial analysis, and special projects as needed. Partner with teams across finance, legal, treasury, operations, and audit functions to support reporting and business initiatives. Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and supporting documentation. Support the preparation of budgets, audits, regulatory filings, and other financial analyses. Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and management reporting packages in accordance with relevant accounting guidance. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of recurring reporting deliverables and month-end activities. Research and evaluate technical accounting matters and communicate findings to management. Participate in process improvement initiatives and other ad hoc projects as assigned.
