You believe in servant leadership and will work with development teams to thoughtfully create and deliver top-quality systems throughout the organization.What you’ll do:Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Software and Analytics Engineers, ensuring the organization has the capabilities, standards, and resources needed to deliver scalable enterprise reporting and insight solutionsDevelop and implement strategies for leveraging data analytics to improve business performance, including adoption of cloud-enabled analytics platforms and improved automation in reporting pipelinesCollaborate with other business leaders to estimate level-of-effort, identify opportunities for process improvement, and optimize reporting and analytics capabilitiesManage the development lifecycle of analytics and intelligence systems, including reporting, dashboards, and insights, ensuring alignment with the needs of the organizationLead the recruitment and development of talent within the engineering and data analytics teams, ensuring that the team is capable of delivering on the organization's goalsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting best practices for data visualization, insight delivery, and responsible use of analytics across the organizationEstablish and evolve the architecture supporting intelligence and reporting platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistent user experience across the organizationReview existing reporting platforms, implementations, and delivery processes to identify opportunities to simplify architecture, improve resiliency, and accelerate delivery of new insightsDefine architecture and governance practices for dashboards, reports, and analytics assets including metric definitions, visualization standards, refresh schedules, and security controlsAlways take action using integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you’ll need:Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field8+ years of experience developing analytics and intelligence solutions, with at least 4 years in a leadership roleProven experience in Business Intelligence platforms and solutionsDemonstrated experience of leading transformation initiatives, including defining and executing a strategy to modernize and migrate BI capabilities to the cloudDemonstrated experience in balancing day-to-day operational responsibilities while simultaneously driving long-term transformation programsDemonstrated experience in managing both the current BI workload and delivery commitments while planning and executing the transformation roadmapDemonstrated experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or similar toolsExperience using and implementing cloud technologies, APIs, DevOps practices, modern design, and development methodologiesDemonstrated ability to improve observability, automation, and reliability of analytics platformsDeep understanding of data modeling, analytics architecture, and reporting platform designStrong understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures associated with software engineering and analytics platform developmentProven knowledge of emerging data analytics tools and technologies and development frameworks to improve data visualizationExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teamsAbility to identify system challenges and designing scalable solutions for complex enterprise analytics environmentsDemonstrated experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar technologiesExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAdditional Preferred Skills:Experience modernizing legacy reporting platforms or leading analytics platform migrations to cloud environmentsExperience implementing enterprise report catalogs, analytics governance practices, or insight certification processesExposure to AI-assisted analytics or conversational analytics capabilitiesOur Benefits:At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
