Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP) Opportunity – Mocksville, NC
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Mocksville, North Carolina , seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during two upcoming staffing needs. This is a unique opportunity for one clinician to provide continuity of services throughout the school year.
Position Details
- Full-time, school-based position
- Onsite services
- 2026-2027 school year
- Opportunity to cover two consecutive assignments:
- Maternity leave coverage from October 2026 through December 2026
- Permanent replacement position from January 2027 through June 2027 following a staff retirement
- One candidate may be selected to fulfill both assignments and remain with the district from October through June
- Additional caseload and district details available during the interview process
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY-SLP) encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education requirements
- Support student communication and academic success within the educational setting
