TRC's partner, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the primary HR resource for one of its manufacturing facilities in Gainesville, GA.

The HR Generalist will support all aspects of plant-level human resources operations, including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, investigations, policy administration, performance management, engagement initiatives, and workforce planning. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders while helping ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors within the assigned manufacturing facility.
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, performance issues, and company policies.
Support investigations and ensure consistent application of employment practices and policies.
Maintain personnel records, HR documentation, and compliance-related files, including I-9 administration.
Partner with enterprise recruiting teams on internal job postings, interviews, hiring activities, and workforce needs.
Coordinate onboarding activities, new hire orientation, and employee transitions.
Process employee separations and conduct exit interviews.
Support timekeeping, attendance management, and payroll-related processes to ensure accuracy.
Assist leaders with performance coaching and progressive discipline processes.
Promote employee engagement through regular interaction with employees and participation in recognition initiatives.
Monitor workforce metrics, headcount, and staffing trends to support operational goals.
Participate in safety initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Demonstrated success supporting employee relations, compliance, investigations, performance management, and HR operations.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience partnering with front-line supervisors and plant leadership.
Ability to build credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
