Job Summary

Medix is seeking a Medical Assistant for a pediatric clinic role in Minneapolis, MN! Full time with the option for 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document necessary visit information such as height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by a clinician or RN.
• Assist with procedures and treatments.
• Complete all components of the standard rooming process including medication reconciliation, allergy review, and immunization reconciliation.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

• Must have a Medical Assitant diploma
• BLS from AHA or American Red Cross
