Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $21 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Clifton Park, NY location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays at a patient service center or client office.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Enter patient data accurately, process billing information and collect payments
- Provide customer service and complete administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from accredited agency
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation: $17.75-$21.00 per hour
