ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities Sentinel is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support one of our largest customers. The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the technical configuration, customization, scripting, workflow automation, integrations, and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on supporting core IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities, developing Service Catalog solutions, automating business processes, and collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable ServiceNow solutions. This is a 1-year long contract position and requires onsite work at the client location in Chicago, Illinois. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.2–4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.Must have experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules and Service Catalog.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.Hands-on experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP web services.Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and CMDB.Manage technical interactions with ServiceNow support (HI/Impact portal) to track defects and operational support cases.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude We focus on candidates that display our “ACE” factor – Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.Compensation Range: $45/hr - $55/hrWhat you get:We offer weekly competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.
