Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans that address their individual needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions via secure online platforms, adapting techniques to suit the client's unique context and preferences.

• Establish a strong therapeutic alliance with clients by setting realistic goals and maintaining open channels of communication throughout the therapy process.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, to promote mental well-being.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and effectiveness of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Urban Care Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The remote setting allows you to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds, providing holistic and culturally competent care tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or PsyD.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication skills to establish rapport with clients and ensure an empathetic and supportive environment during teletherapy sessions.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
