HR Coordinator

HR CoordinatorThis role is a 6-month contract position, 100% onsite, supporting day-to-day HR operations with a focus on temporary workforce onboarding, new hire orientation, workforce management, scheduling coordination, and performance tracking. The role will transition from 1st Shift (6:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Thursday) through December to 2nd Shift (7:30PM-6:00AM Sunday-Wednesday) starting in January.Required Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred1–3 years of HR, staffing, or workforce coordination experienceExperience in a high-volume or manufacturing environment strongly preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Client Excel (tracking, data entry, basic reporting)Strong communication skills with ability to engage hourly employees and leadershipPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary workforce programsFamiliarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce or similar)Experience supporting scheduling or workforce planningKnowledge of basic employment law and HR compliance practicesDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Coordinate onboarding for temporary employees and serve as a point of contact during onboarding and assignment lifecycleFacilitate weekly new hire orientation sessions and ensure completion of required documentationMaintain and update workforce rosters, shift assignments, and headcount trackingMonitor temporary employees' hours and eligibility for conversion to full-timeAssist supervisors with tracking temporary employee performance and support preparation for performance reviewsMaintain accurate employee records and support auditsCompany Benefits & Culture:Manufacturing plant setting with both office and floor presenceFrequent interaction with hourly employees, supervisors, and leadershipAbility to support flexible hours aligned with shift-based operations
