Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage related side effects, including acute tumor lysis syndrome and extravasation injury.
• Coordinate care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant and manage complications such as graft-versus-host disease.
• Manage central lines, including PICC and implanted line care, ensuring appropriate monitoring and maintenance.
• Administer medications such as antiemetics, corticosteroids, and hormonal therapies as part of oncology treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
• Float to other UCSF facilities as needed to support staffing needs and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License and BSN degree required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification required; OCN certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience, including BMT experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required, with medical/religious exemptions considered.
