Job Responsibilities Maintain instructional continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Implement lesson plans and classroom procedures as provided by the regular teacher. Maintain a safe, respectful, and well‑managed classroom environment. Support student learning and engagement across grade levels as assigned. Communicate effectively with school staff regarding classroom needs or concerns. Uphold school policies and expectations. Model and support Catholic values in interactions with students and staff. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred (education‑related field a plus). Substitute teaching certification or eligibility per Archdiocesan/state requirements. Classroom experience preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism. Preferred Attributes Familiarity with Catholic school settings. Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church. Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and learning levels. Reporting Structure: this position reports to the School Principal or designated administrator.
