Job title: Regional Field Director, Patient Support Services - WestLocation: San Francisco, CAAbout the Job Regional Field Director, Patient Education/Community Relations & Education Managers (RD CoRe)for the WEST Region - Rare Blood Disorders, Patient Support ServicesSanofi’s Regional Director for the West Region Community Relations and Education Managers (RD CoRe) works within our patient support services team and is expected to possess a high level of product, clinical and customer knowledge, be familiar with protocols and procedures, and possess an entrepreneurial drive and spirit to lead their teams in expanding, growing and owning their business.In this field-based director/leadership position, you will be responsible for successfully managing and leading a team of Community Relations and Education Managers who have responsibility for patient and caregiver education as they represent our Rare Blood Disorder therapies. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop effective business plans to execute brand strategies that are consistent with corporate brand and marketing plans and are tailored to geography and customer context.Coordinate all business activities and drive results within geographic area of responsibility. Ensure effective execution of Sanofi strategies and tactics within assigned geographic area.Develop and execute strategic plans to drive disease state and product awareness in the rare blood disorder market. Coordinate closely with cross functional leaders to foster teamwork and a high level of customer service and education. This coordination includes Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Managed Markets, Medical Affairs and Patient Services.Develop expertise in relevant CRM tools. Ensure the compliant utilization of CRM tools by team and hold accountable for effective use.Leverage expertise in clinical data, disease education, diagnostics, product information, presentation skills and market trends to drive team performance.Recruit, hire, coordinate training and ensure engagement of Community Relations and Education Manager field team.Manage the performance of the team by providing individual constructive feedback and coaching. Set clear direction, communicate, train, guide, inspire and hold accountable personnel in order to maximize team performance. Visit customers with field team personnel to ascertain effectiveness. Provide developmental assignments to individuals to improve organizational capabilities and develop future leaders.Provide key market insights and field feedback to marketing and leadership teams.Review and analyze data/systems/procedures to support idea generation and implementation of strategic and tactical objectives.Apply a high degree of business acumen and utilize analytics to assess regional performance and potential.Organize and execute effective POA meetings.Manage and adhere to all company policies and Legal and Regulatory guidelines.Uphold and exemplify Sanofi’s core values.About YouBasic Qualifications:3-5 Years experience leading a field-based team with documented achievementsBA/BS Degree Required, preferably in life science or businessMinimum 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, with demonstrated successful resultsExperience in launching Rare disease product(s) or complex specialty productsExperience in coordinating patient and provider support services such as specialty pharmacy, reimbursement services, nursing services, specialty distributor, etc.Ability to travel 50-80% Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned regionValid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:MBA or MS degree in business/clinical/science is a plusLaunch experience strongly preferredHematology experience strongly preferredWhy Choose UsBring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future-focused team.
