Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Fuel Clerk Intern to assist with daily fuel processing, data entry, and recordkeeping. This position is responsible for supporting the accounting department with routine administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain fuel purchase and usage records accurately.
- Review fuel BOL's and related documentation.
- Verify pricing, quantities, dates, and account information on fuel transactions.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper accounting records.
- Prepare basic reports related to fuel expenses, purchases, and inventory.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to management or the accounting team.
- Assist with data entry and other general accounting and administrative duties as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Follow company policies and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial records.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Internship: Approximately 1522 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility based on business needs.
