Benefits Specialist

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a great client in Gilbert, AZ to hire a Benefits Specialist. This hybrid, part-time contract opportunity is expected to last 6-8 weeks and offers $35-45/hr. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with benefits administration, leave management, audit support, and open enrollment processes within a fast‑paced HR environment. Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs and support day-to‑day benefits operations Provide support for 401(k) audits and benefits-related compliance initiatives Assist with Open Enrollment planning, communication, and administration Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) processes and employee inquiries Reconcile benefits invoices and ensure accurate billing processes Support benefits audits, reporting, and special HR projects as needed Required: Previous experience in benefits administration Knowledge of 401(k) plans and audit support processes Experience managing Leave of Absence (LOA) administrationUnderstanding of Open Enrollment processes and employee benefits programs Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
