Benefits Specialist

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a great client in Gilbert, AZ to hire a Benefits Specialist. This hybrid, part-time contract opportunity is expected to last 6-8 weeks and offers $35-45/hr. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with benefits administration, leave management, audit support, and open enrollment processes within a fast-paced HR environment.



Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs and support day-to-day benefits operations
• Provide support for 401(k) audits and benefits-related compliance initiatives
• Assist with Open Enrollment planning, communication, and administration
• Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) processes and employee inquiries
• Reconcile benefits invoices and ensure accurate billing processes
• Support benefits audits, reporting, and special HR projects as needed

Required:

• Previous experience in benefits administration
• Knowledge of 401(k) plans and audit support processes
• Experience managing Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
• Understanding of Open Enrollment processes and employee benefits programs
