Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Facilitating individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, both remotely and in-person.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and referral services for clients.

• Contributing to community outreach efforts aimed at promoting mental wellness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse set of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will have the opportunity to provide care for clients facing various challenges such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and perinatal mental health needs. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills to provide bilingual psychotherapy services.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, working directly with families and individuals.
\n
• A respectful and empathetic approach to varied cultural and individual needs.
\n
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• A valid Driver's License and necessary car insurance.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be considered favorably:

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ matters, or perinatal mental health.

• Previously trained in short-term individual or group therapy methodologies.

• Demonstrable experience in providing telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

Compensation and Benefits\n
