Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate crisis interventions by crafting pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments to ensure immediate client safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in adherence to regulatory standards.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools in coordination with the clinical team to inform treatment approaches and improvements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans, aligning strategies with best practices for client engagement.
• Engage fully in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating compliance with all necessary requirements and quality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide counseling to a wide array of clients, including those coping with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and various developmental challenges. Your work will empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique challenges while promoting mental resilience and healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is mandatory.
• Eligibility for licensure by the state of Florida is essential for this position.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Exceptional communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients quickly.
• Ability to listen actively and empathize while providing constructive guidance.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous telehealth experience or familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques will be viewed favorably. Experience in creating and implementing behavior support plans within collaborative environments is also advantageous.
