Job Opportunity - Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) - Texas

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36 guaranteed hours per week; every other weekend; 13-week assignment

• Exposure to advanced interventions including chest tubes, tracheostomies, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and GI scopes

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Previous MICU or MSICU experience highly preferred
• Experience with IABP and CRRT preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
