Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to play a critical, hands-on role in executing and stabilizing our month-end close and balance sheet integrity during a period of operational change, including facility consolidation and systems maturation.

This role is the engine of the close. This is a highly visible role with supervisory responsibilities of a team and close interaction across Accounting, Operations, and Finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the month-end and year-end close processes, including schedules and supporting documentation

Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, including cash, AR, AP, prepaid, and accrual accounts.

Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance

Maintain proper documentation for transactions and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP

Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and financial inquiries

Assist with ad hoc projects, process improvements, and other accounting duties as assigned

Supervise and hold team accountable for accuracy of work.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive accounting experience
