Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Connecticut Educator Certification with Special Education (SPED) endorsement required
• Full-time availability for the 2026-2027 academic year

• Commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive educational strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, adaptive instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education faculty, related service providers, and families to ensure holistic student development
• Monitor student progress and maintain robust documentation in accordance with state and school policies
• Create a supportive, encouraging classroom environment that meets a variety of learning and behavioral needs
• Implement positive behavior supports and differentiated strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development activities, and regular team collaboration
