Human Resources Manager

HR Manager - Onsite in West LA - $150,000-160,000 base Company Size: ~100 employees Industry: Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced and people-first HR Manager to lead and evolve our human resources function as we continue to scale. This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership while remaining hands-on across core HR operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted partner to leadership and managers on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development Own full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS management Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance practices in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Lead recruitment efforts in partnership with hiring managers, including workforce planning, interview processes, and offer execution Manage employee engagement initiatives, performance review cycles, and learning and development programs Provide guidance on compensation, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency and fairness Oversee benefits programs and act as the primary point of contact for employee questions Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality Support company growth initiatives including headcount planning, manager training, and culture-building programs Qualifications 7-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Experience partnering directly with executives and people managers Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, payroll coordination, and benefits administration Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution Nice to Have Experience scaling HR processes in a startup environment Exposure to remote or hybrid workforce management Passion for employee experience and culture development Why Join Us Opportunity to build and shape people operations at a growing tech company Competitive compensation and benefits High visibility and direct impact on company success #J-18808-Ljbffr
