Position Overview Experienced Field Service Representative – Defense Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations (BGS) is seeking an experienced representative to provide technical field support for the AH64D/E attack helicopter in Mesa, Arizona and other global locations. The role involves troubleshooting multiple systems, providing customer‑focused support, training, and maintaining the aircraft. Responsibilities Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems. Provides customer‑focused technical field support of AH64 aircraft for Boeing customers on a global scale. Aids the customer in troubleshooting drives, propulsion, pneudraulic, electrical, and armament systems. Resolves maintenance and operational issues. Interprets technical documents and monitors product performances. Develops and conducts ad‑hoc training in an informal/on‑the‑job training environment. Responds to operational issues by interpreting technical documents to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in support of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events. Collaborates with company organizations to isolate equipment problems not detected by diagnostics and standard documentation. Collects technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures to address potential support issues. Manages field office resources and maintains company presence. Prepares and submits required data using various reporting methods with strong written and oral communication skills. Interfaces with all levels of customer organizations. Interprets technical drawings and data to rectify aircraft mechanical and electrical issues. Uses MS Office and concise reporting for remote communications. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience working maintenance for AH‑64D or AH‑64E aircraft. Willing and able to deploy/travel to a variety of locations, including domestic and international, on short notice. Willing to relocate to various locations as required. Must possess a current U.S. passport. Must be able to obtain required work visa and clearances from International Health Services. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution or equivalent experience. Travel & Relocation The position may require short‑notice travel to domestic and international locations, and relocation to other field operations sites based on customer needs or management requirements. International assignments will receive relocation benefits and health requirements. Failure to deploy, travel, or relocate will be considered resignation. Eligibility & Clearance U.S. Citizenship required; active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62. Must pass military contractor health standards if assigned to U.S. DOD contingency operations. Employer will not sponsor employment visas; candidates must qualify for required visas independently. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $85,850 – $116,150 (based on experience and qualifications).
