Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, incorporating physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and execute individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively handing off surgical instruments during procedures
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgical practices preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Physician Assistants
