About Four Points LA Westside: The Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles Westside is a newly renovated, classy, and relaxed select service hotel in the heart of Los Angeles. With our elevated aesthetic, phenomenal location and stellar service, our property has become a favorite destination amongst corporate, group, and leisure guests. We are centrally located in Culver City across the street from the Westfield Shopping Mall, with access to over 40+ restaurants, and walking distance from the Howard Hughes Shopping Plaza. Position Summary: The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating and managing group room business for Four Points LA westside, with a strong focus on corporate, association, SMERF (social, military, educational, religious, fraternal), and entertainment markets. This role requires an energetic, hands-on sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive revenue growth while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Events and functions experience is a strong plus, and administration tasks are a must as the role requires accurate reporting, contract management, and system updates. Key Responsibilities: Proactively solicit, negotiate, and confirm group room blocks (corporate, association, SMERF, entertainment, and social segments) to maximize revenue. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including travel planners, production companies, and event organizers. Conduct site visits, presentations, sales calls and client entertainment to build loyalty and secure new business. Collaborate with catering and operations teams on events and functions tied to group business. Handle administration tasks such as preparing contracts, updating Infor SCS/PMS, maintaining accurate records, and completing reports. Work closely with revenue management to optimize group rates, patterns, and inventory controls. Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account information. Represent Four Points at networking events and client functions as needed. Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue and room night goals. Handle proposals, agreements, and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner. Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on group business. Prior Los Angeles hotel sales experience preferred. Strong understanding of the LA market, including corporate, association, SMERF, entertainment, and event segments. Lightspeed/ CI/TY experience strongly preferred. Events and functions experience a plus. Administration tasks and organizational skills are essential. Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage client relationships, and close business. Highly motivated, self-starter, with a hands-on approach to sales and client engagement. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment.
