Cocktail Server

55 South, a craft cocktail bar located in Downtown San Jose is hiring cocktail servers to add to our team and for our upcoming holiday pop-up, Sippin' Santa. We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and outgoing servers to help deliver a wonderful and unique experience at our bar. The candidate's responsibilities is to provide our guests with the finest food and beverages, accompanied by attentive and friendly service.

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years serving experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment

• Must have a valid CA Certified Food Handlers Card

• Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that include evenings, holidays and weekends. If you're available to work Sundays, that's a plus.

• Must be a team player, in terms of cleanliness in the service station, helping and accepting help from fellow servers, and following directions from trainers.

• Must have some knowledge on cocktails and/or liquor and spirits.

• Suggestive selling and up-selling techniques is a plus.

• Drive to provide impeccable service and customer experience.

Starting at $17.95/hour plus tips.
