Role Overview

As a Sales Associate, you'll help drive Arches' growth in the China market by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our commercial pipeline. Working closely with the Head of Commercial, the Head of China Business, and the Marketing team, you'll gain hands-on experience working with leading consulting firms, investment funds, and corporates in a fast-growing international business.

Responsibilities

Client Acquisition (50–60%)

• Identify and prospect potential clients, primarily across the China market.
• Generate qualified leads through email, LinkedIn, referrals, and outbound outreach.
• Build and maintain the sales pipeline for China-related opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target accounts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reports.

Account Activation (35%)

• Support client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
• Follow up with existing clients to increase account usage and revenue.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver an excellent client experience and support account growth.

Marketing Support (5–15%)

• Collaborate with the Marketing team on lead generation campaigns and marketing initiatives for the China market.
• Support content localisation and the development of sales enablement materials.
• Share market insights and client feedback to enhance marketing initiatives and commercial strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Proven experience in prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.
• Experience in the China and/or Southeast Asia markets is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and results-driven, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Working Location:

• Remote within China, ideally based in Shenzhen or nearby.
• Opportunity for a one-month onboarding and training experience in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with relocation support (including visa assistance, flights, and accommodation).
