Human Resource GeneralistThe Human Resource Generalist will support their area of responsibility in recruiting, training, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and other HR related areas as needed. This position will focus on supporting programs/strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of the people resources of the company.Primary Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:Establish credibility with the office management team and all Nashville office employees to be an effective listener and problem solverUnderstand and apply all HR policies and company guidelines consistentlyComplete training and onboarding for new employeesAssist with recruiting for current open positions, including managing job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews, making job offers and completing pre-employment screenings, etc.Plan and implement employee engagement activities for area of responsibilityManage leave of absence casesUtilize HRIS system to create reports, review timecards, and maintain employee profilesCommunicate and provide guidance to management and employees as neededAssist with toolbox talks and other employee communicationsBe involved in local community groups to build relationships, enhance knowledge and visibility within the communityReact productively to changeOther duties as assigned
