Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments to establish a thorough understanding of clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) for accurate diagnoses and therapy goal-setting.

• Provide individual and group therapy, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques that resonate with diverse clientele.

• Collaborate closely with primary care providers (PCPs) to ensure integrated care and continuity of support for clients.

• Engage in ongoing client evaluations and follow-ups to adjust treatment strategies as needed, ensuring optimal care outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely clinical documentation using appropriate software for effective data management and compliance.
\n
• Support the development of educational resources for clients and providers about mental health awareness and intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving veterans and individuals identified by primary care providers as needing mental health support. This includes addressing issues related to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. You will work to create a safe and inclusive environment where clients can openly discuss their challenges and strive toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Ability to fulfill credentialing requirements for clinical practice within the organization.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric populations or individuals battling substance abuse.

• Competence in conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and delivering individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to USD 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
